“Grandma! Grandma! You’re back!” Multiple children shout at the hunched figure walking into the warm home. She shoos them away with a quick wave of her hand.
“Terrible storm we’re having today,” the lady simply known as grandma says, “one of you fetch me some coffee.” The children run off and one of the adults in the room brings the old lady her coffee. “Thank you, honey. Look at your mother, serviced by her own daughter, how pitiful.” She laughs.
“Mum, you need to stop going out in the rain, you’re going to catch a cold. And Gareth won’t live through another sickness.” The kids return with a cup of coffee only to run off disappointed when they see Grandma already holding a full mug.
